Yana & Matt exchanged vows on a gorgeous fall day at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Arlington with their reception following at St. Francis Hall, a perfect setting for an iconic Washington D.C. wedding! They filled their wedding with a lot of unique touches that incorporated Yana’s Ukrainian heritage and the couples attention to detail. A few highlights from the night included a surprise performance from Ukranian dancers, hand made jelly favors with a variety of flavors, postcards for guests to sign and leave in a gold mailbox with wishes for the bride and groom, a traditional Ukranian cake made of bread, called Korovai and a beautiful 3 tiered wedding cake with whipped icing that was displayed on the stage (that even tasted amazing too). The reception was full of energy and dancing as DJ Mark Maskell kept everyone on their feet. Congratulations Yana & Matt, what a fun wedding!
An Easter wedding at Woodend Sanctuary, a property of the Audubon Naturalist Society in Chevy Chase, Maryland. The flowers were all pink with tulips as the centerpieces and large Cherry Blossom branches for the display arrangements. The bridal bouquet was all monochromatic shades of pink in peonies, David Austin roses and tulips! Diamond Events installed pink and white lanterns in the ceiling of the tent, providing soft lighting overhead throughout the entire reception. Congrats Erika & Sam, what a beautiful spring wedding!
Liji and Sean had such a colorful wedding in pink and orange at the Mt. Airy Mansion in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. The lighting and candle light gave an elegant glow throughout the entire house. The tall centerpieces were gorgeous and had large pink hydrangeas, roses, calla lilies and orchids.
Jessica and Aaron chose the Netherlands Carillon Bell Tower near the Iwo Jima memorial in Arlington, Virginia for their ceremony, making Washington D.C. the backdrop. The weather was overcast and misty all day, but held off long enough to get have their ideal ceremony outside. The aisle was scattered with white rose petals and hanging from the edges of every other chair, were yellow paper lanterns hung on chartreuse green ribbon. Jessica’s bouquet was made with green and white hydrangeas, roses and ranunculus. The Maid-of-Honor carried a bouquet of white hydrangea and yellow ranunculus accents while the two other bridesmaids bouquets were all white hydrangea. The reception was held at the Hyatt Regency in Crystal City. The centerpieces were hydrangeas and curly willow branches coming out of a tall cylindrical vases surrounded by pillar candles. The vase was placed on top of a bed of moss with burlap runners. Congratulations Jessica & Aaron, you had such a beautiful wedding!

Jamie and Eric’s wedding in tones of blush and gold was romantic and elegant. The chapel where the couple held their ceremony was commiissioned by the brides grandfather and held a special meaning for many of the guests. Large peony arrangments in blush and white decorated the altar and a custom aisle runner with rhinestone accents added the extra “bling” that the bride was looking for. After the ceremony the couple travelled in a vintage Rolls Royce to the reception at Harbour View Event Center in Woodbridge, Virginia. The tables were dressed in soft pink pintuck with gold chargers and soft, round centerpieces bursting with peonies. The chairs were covered in white chair covers tied with gold satin sashes and rhinestone buckles.
