Throughout the entire planning process, the one thing that was in the favor Kailyn and Michael is that “Plan B” and sometimes even “Plan C” were even better than they hoped for. From the beginning Kailyn knew she wanted a country chic wedding outdoors with black and white checks and yellow accents. Originally planning on hosting the reception on her family’s property, the logistics were costly and lead to the couple searching for alternative venues to host their wedding. Since Kailyn and Michael were out of town we would they were solely basing their decision off of the videos that we took for them, leading to the final decision of the beautiful Sunset Crest Manor. The patio overlooking Bull Run Battlefields and the barn to host their reception was the perfect setting to carry out their theme.
The entire day was full of personal touches, from the “Kiss & Park” sign as guest drove up to the personalized mugs given as favors as they left, there wasn’t a detail overlooked. Instead of wedding cake the couple chooses to serve a variety of 5 different delicious pies made by Kay of The Little Apple Pastry Shop in Aldie, Virginia. Of course the get-away car followed the color scheme, Yellow Cab of Manassas provided a black and yellow Scion with a custom congratulations sign, what a fun exit for such a fun couple! Congratulations Kailyn and Michael!
